Most straight-forward augmented environment to date?!?!?

Australian interactive agency Boffswana have created a Flash based AE that is very straight forward to implement and actually works! Check out this video:

Papervision – Augmented Reality (extended) from Boffswana on Vimeo

And since its based on the opensource FLARToolkit it too is opensource. So click here to give it a whirl and download the source, make something cool and post your project here for us to see!

Instead of printing it, I imported into Second Life a texture with the ‘Hiro’ marker made by Boffswana (adding some white border) and I applied it to a prim.

After that, I opened in my web browser the Papervision – Augmented Reality blog post where Boffswana published their awesome Flash-based tool: then I pointed my webcam to the monitor and took a screenshot.

…Augmented Second Life!
