Grossing 17.5 Million/month selling virtual goods?
Virtual World News reported today that the Finish Virtual World of Habbo is bringing in 17.5 million dollars a month by selling virtual goods. That was this past month. Amazing how during these economic times, virtual goods are acting (well not acting) are a true commodity.
To give this commodity even more credence, the Chinese government has begun taxing virtual goods. To you skeptics of virtual goods: this is real. There is not much difference between the physically material good and the virtual one — economically speaking or maybe psychologically too?
